Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Location: Great Park, Newcastle Hours: Term Time Only, 8:00am - 3:30pm Salary: Living wage I am really excited to be working with a wonderful small group of nurseries in Newcastle led by a passionate and very hands-on owner. Due to expansion, she is in need of a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join her team on a permanent basis. Her nurseries are fantastic places for the children and staff with a Montessori and Forest school focus. They also offer Spanish, yoga and tennis amongst their activities. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of each child. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing insights with parents and colleagues. Work collaboratively with a team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. Support children's personal care needs, including feeding, changing, and toileting. Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
