ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high school in Burnley who are looking for a Qualified SEN Level 3 TA to join their team. The school is for children with significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Students attending may have witnessed developmental trauma, and the centre focuses on a tailored approach to learning. The team is looking for someone who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar setting and who is strong and confident in delivering a curriculum. Resilience is also key in this role. The role will consist of: Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs) Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed Academic support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting the teacher The Ideal Candidate: Level 3 TA qualified or equivalent Knowledge and experience teaching the mainstream curriculum Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis Position Details: Location - Burnley Position - Level 3 Teaching Assistant Contract Type - Temporary (with possible permanent opportunities) Paid to scale Hours - (Apply online only) (Term Time only) Monday - Friday Start Date - ASAP Unfortunately, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
