About the Role

Syntech Recruitment are seeking experienced A Licensed and Type-Rated Aircraft Engineers to join a globally recognised Avionics business. Key Responsibilities

Aircraft Maintenance:

Conduct line maintenance, preventive maintenance, and system alterations, ensuring compliance with UK CAA regulations. System Testing & Repairs:

Perform built-in and manual tests, troubleshoot electronic failures, and replace defective parts. Customer Support:

Engage with airline representatives to document repairs and maintain service records. Spare Inventory Management:

Assist in tracking spare inventory and ensuring availability of required components. Additional Duties:

Communicate effectively with management, operate vehicles within airport properties, adhere to health and safety standards, and undertake other duties as required by supervisors.

Key Requirements

Licenses:

Must hold an A or B1 or B2 License with a Type Rating on one or more of the following: A380, A350, A330, A320, 787, 777, 767. Experience:

Strong knowledge of electrical mechanics and aircraft systems. Background in commercial aviation, military service, or technical school is highly desirable. Prior IFE or avionics experience is preferred but not essential. Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working on ladders, platforms, and in confined spaces. Endurance for standing, sitting, and bending over extended periods. Skills:

Proficient in MS Office and other essential IT tools. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and perform under tight deadlines. Additional Requirements:

Valid UK driver's license. Open to shift work, including evenings and weekends.

What We're Looking For

Proven aircraft maintenance experience with a Category A UK CAA Aircraft License or equivalent. Precision and attention to detail in following complex instructions and meeting service-level agreements. Strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and a solution-focused mindset.
