Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Intern – Per Diem

will play a key role in assisting the pharmacy team in the preparation, billing, and dispensing of prescription and OTC medications to Charles River Community Health Pharmacy patients. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Provide exceptional personal customer service and accommodate patient needs in a timely, efficient, and caring manner. Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications while maintaining productivity as well as regulatory and quality standards. Maintain patient records and prescription information using a pharmacy computer system. Perform duties in an accurate, timely, knowledgeable, thorough, and complete manner. Answer telephone calls in a timely, professional manner. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, TRAITS MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS Active MA Pharmacy Technician Registration, or MA Pharmacy Intern license. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be flexible and be able to work different schedules to meet the needs of the pharmacy and organization. Demonstrate competent working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Possess the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks. Must be adaptable, with a willingness to learn new responsibilities. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Certified Pharmacy Technician licensed by passing the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam or Current MA Pharmacy Intern Registration. Prior recent experience (1-2yrs) in a retail community setting. Knowledge of 340B Drug Pricing Program. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
