As a Licensing Coordinator at Far and Beyond you will be responsible for managing and coordinating licensing activities for all events, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations. This role will involve working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure necessary licences and permissions for events across various locations. You will report into the Licensing Manager, and ultimately into the Event Producers and Head of Events. This role will focus on events in the UK, but may also involve some work abroad predominantly in Europe and the Middle East. You will be office based, but will travel for work projects so should expect to be away from home for the majority of the summer months in the UK, and a few weeks spread sporadically across the rest of the year to work abroad. Responsibilities
Research and identify licensing requirements for events in different regions and countries. Develop and maintain relationships with licensing authorities, vendors, and third-party agencies. Coordination and supporting the Health, Safety and Licensing Manager in ensuring that each event maintains compliance with licensing objectives and the terms and conditions of each event licence. Coordinate the application process for event licences, permits, and any necessary regulatory approvals. Collaborate with event planning teams to integrate licensing requirements into event plans. Monitor changes in licensing regulations and advise teams on compliance updates. Maintain accurate records of all licensing documentation and agreements. Assist in negotiating licensing agreements and terms with external partners. Production and distribution of event related documentation including Event Management Plans. Liaise with local authorities and emergency services. Engage external contractors for each event to ensure the adequate provision of key services. Report into the Event Manager and ensure they are aware of all developments related to the licensing of the event. Engage with external Traffic Management Companies and/or the events appointed Traffic Coordinator. Ensure all trader and bar operations are being run in accordance with the appropriate legislation and the agreed contracts between the event and the supplier. Appointment and line management of key event staff as delegated by the Event Manager and Festival Director. Negotiation of rates for appointed contractors and the raising of purchase orders in line with budgetary requirements. Liaison with the Security Coordinator in the planning of the onsite security teams for each event and booking in a suitable number of security staff for the event. Organisation and management of the Challenge 21 staff and process for each event. Coordination with the Accessibility Manager in the provision of accessibility requirements on site and meeting statutory requirements. Taking minutes at each Silver meeting with external agencies before, during and after the event. Following up on meeting minutes and action points. Liaison with the local community through residents meetings and meetings with Parish and District Councillors. Collation of event debriefs from appointed contractors and relevant agencies. Organising the post event debrief with the local authorities and emergency services. All work should be completed to a high standard and in line with Far and Beyond’s brand guidelines, utilising templates, logos and company fonts across all documentation. Reports into Head of Events, but may also take direction from the Managing Director and Event Producers. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, or related field is desired but not essential. Applicants without a degree will be considered based on previous experience and references. Proven experience 1-2 years in a similar role within the events, entertainment, or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of licensing procedures and regulations. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Google documents and relevant database software. About you

Generally Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm or 10am – 6pm, and extra hours as needed. Should you have to go on site, onsite hours vary in length but are generally 8am – 8pm and longer on show days (this can also include weekends). Additional Offering
