Brentwood Care Centre is looking for a

Lifestyle Lead

to join their family-friendly residential and nursing home, caring for people with Dementia.

The Lifestyle Lead will motivate, inspire, and mobilise team members in the home to be involved and engaged in the provision of stimulating activities within the residents' environment.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, organise, promote, and implement a meaningful, enjoyable, engaging, and stimulating activities programme based on relationship-centred care principles. Motivate, inspire, and mobilise care team members within the home. Role model relationship-centred care to empower residents with their lifestyle choices. Ensure there are always sufficient equipment and resources available for meaningful engagement and occupation of residents. Actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices, valuing individual dignity and communication differences. Qualifications/Education: NVQ HSC level 3 or QCF HSC award 3 (or higher). Experience: Proven track record of organising, coordinating, and motivating others. Experience of organising and scheduling programmes of events or activities. Experience working with older people (both living with and without Dementia). Experience delivering high-quality relationship-centred care. Skills/Knowledge: Excellent communication (written and verbal) and clinical skills. Knowledge of and competence in core Microsoft Office applications. Passionate and keen to develop new skills. Strong listening skills. Data management for record keeping and review. Ability to organise efficiently and prioritise workloads under pressure. Personal Qualities: Reliable, flexible, adaptable, and punctual. Willing and able to work outside standard hours. Approachable and friendly. Positive in outlook and manner. Self-motivated. Able to promote a professional image for the company at all times.
