Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team based in Plymouth. As our Lifting Equipment Engineer, you’ll perform installation, proof load testing, visual examinations, service, and inspections of lifting, crane and height safety equipment. What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Respond to customer breakdowns, diagnose faults, and liaise with customers for cost-effective repairs. Complete and return full, detailed service & repair reports. Achieve competency as defined in the LEEA registration scheme. Provide own tooling (larger workshop tools provided). Assist specialists in setting up and testing new products or processes. The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria: Previous experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance. Demonstratable expertise in fault finding. Full UK Driving License. Desirable: Competence in inspecting lifting equipment iaw LOLER. Hold relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g. LEEA). NVQ3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance.
