An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a gentleman within his own home in the Ormskirk area. This support will include personal care.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include supporting with all aspects of daily life, including meal preparation, general domestic duties, and support with medication during meal times. Support will also include assistance with showering and dressing. To carry out this duty, the carer will need to be trained in using a hoist and manual handling; full training will be provided.
We are looking for a caring, honest, and reliable individual with a passion for supporting others and a good work ethic. The successful applicant will be part of a small team of carers who together provide 24 hours of care for this gentleman.
Previous experience would be preferred but not essential. This is a part-time position for up to 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12 plus 5.6 weeks of paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme. The working hours would be between 8.30 am – 1 pm over 4 days a week, which would include Saturdays.
