Personal Assistant Required
- Rossendale Area - LILS/LM/JA
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mature Personal Assistant to support a visually impaired gentleman within his own home and in the local community.
Experience:
Experience of providing compassionate support to clients with learning difficulties and experience with wheelchair users is essential.
Main Duties:
Your main duties will include supporting with all aspects of daily life, including personal care, social support, and mobility. Personal care will include dressing and bathing. Aids are available to support with these duties; experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. Duties also include occasional meal preparation and light domestic duties.
Requirements:
A driver with access to own vehicle and proof of business insurance is essential to provide access to local community activities.
We are looking for a mature, caring, proactive, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Position Details:
This is a part-time position for up to 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave.
