The Pier is a busy beach front Cafe & Restaurant focused on serving Brunch, Lunch, Coffee, Cake & Ice Cream. We are mainly a daytime venue (other than events), and the kitchen closes at 4pm, creating an excellent work/life balance.
This is an extremely busy, fast-paced, and high-volume environment. Candidates must have experience in working in this style of environment and be able to cope well under pressure.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Working alongside the kitchen team to prepare dishes to specification and within reasonable timescales. Support kitchen team in food preparation. Keep a clean environment. Follow Cook Safe Procedures to comply with HSE standards. Work with the Head Chef to develop specials, menu items, and new ideas. Job Types:
