Full-time, Permanent Are you a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter with a passion for working in the civils sector? We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, to join their dynamic team and be a key player in keeping heavy plant machinery operating at peak performance.
Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.) Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance. Respond to breakdowns swiftly across multiple sites within the civils sector. Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and environmental standards. Work independently while liaising with site managers and engineers.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar role in the construction or civils industry. Strong diagnostic skills with a deep understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. Valid driver's licence (essential). NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable).
