Our client was established in 1985 and has since grown to become an international IT company that focuses on six core business areas.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver solutions to support critical decision-making on the battlefield. Install and configure our software products in customer environments to meet complex user needs. Solve technical problems, including fault-finding and troubleshooting. Support the delivery of technical training for our customers. Provide remote and on-site support to customers, especially during military exercises. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, consultants, and colleagues. Stay up to date with our clients' products and related technologies. Help ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed scope, on-budget, and on-time.
Technical Capability and Experience: You have a strong technical background and ideally hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a mathematical, computer-related, or other relevant discipline.
You have at least two years of experience in delivering software solutions within customer environments.
Your technical competences cover: Windows and Linux sysadmin knowledge and experience. Knowledge and experience of network management. Experience of software fault-finding and debugging.
Experience of working with military customers and knowledge of the defence C4I domain are advantageous.
