Linux System Administrator

to join this great team. This is a fully remote role; however, candidates must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK. About the Role:

As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising their Linux-based systems, ensuring they run smoothly and securely. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to support and enhance the software platform. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Linux systems, with a focus on Debian-based distributions. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues. Ensure system security and reliability through regular updates and proactive monitoring. Optimize system performance to meet the needs of a high-traffic software platform. Use version control tools such as Git to manage configurations and deployments. Support PHP-based applications and ensure seamless integration with the system. Key Requirements:

A minimum of

4 years of Linux system administration experience . Proficiency with

Debian ,

PHP , and

Git . Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Desirable but Not Essential:

Experience working in a

hosting company

or a similar environment. What they offer:
