Litho Printer In Thetford
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus reasonable over time as required Pay Rate: £32k - £35k per annum (depending on experience)
Technique Recruitment Solutions are looking for an experienced Lithographic Printer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in lithographic printing. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining printing presses. The position primarily is for black and white book printing on Heidelberg SM102ZP 2 col perfecting presses, but also running B2 4 colour presses.
Training will be given if an applicant has offset litho experience on other sorts of machine.
Key Responsibilities:
Press Operation:
Operate and maintain lithographic printing presses. Setup and Calibration:
Set up printing jobs, including adjusting settings, loading materials, and calibrating the equipment for optimal performance. Quality Control:
Monitor print quality during production runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality standards. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning rollers, changing ink, and lubricating machinery. Production Management:
Follow production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements: Experience:
Proven experience operating lithographic printing presses preferably Heidelberg's is essential. Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to Detail:
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
