Glanvilles Damant are looking for a Litigation fee earner to join our Litigation Team. Our preferred candidate will have experience of both residential and commercial property disputes, landlord and tenant issues, debt recovery, contractual disputes, professional negligence and contentious probates.
An example of what you will be doing (not exhaustive):
Managing your own mixed caseload and providing legal advice and representation to a diverse group of clients
Assisting in other cases under supervision
Dealing with calls and enquiries on the telephone and when clients visit the office
AML checks
Preparing cases for Court, including briefing Counsel where appropriate, and preparing Court Bundles when necessary
Drafting documentation appertaining to cases, often in accordance with timescales set by the Court
This role is full time hours 9am to 5:00pm - Monday to Friday. Salary to be discussed, dependent on level of experience. You will be immediately eligible to join the firm’s Cheviot Trust pension scheme and after two years’ continuous employment you will be eligible to join Glanvilles Damant’s Group Life Insurance Policy and Group Income Protection Policy.
