Job Description Home Instead is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In Care Assistant to join our team in Guildford, United Kingdom. As a Live In Care Assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide essential support and companionship to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

Live in the client's home, providing round-the-clock care and support Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare nutritious meals and monitor clients' eating habits Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercise routines Offer companionship through engaging activities and conversations Accompany clients to appointments and social events as needed Monitor and document clients' daily activities and well-being Communicate regularly with the care management team and clients' families Respond appropriately to emergencies and unexpected situations Respect clients' privacy and adhere to their house rules Promote a positive and supportive living environment Qualifications

Genuine passion for caring for older adults and those in need Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong adaptability to various living environments and situations Exceptional time-keeping and organisational abilities Willingness to seek guidance and follow instructions when needed Good level of stamina and physical fitness to meet the demands of the role Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required Experience in caregiving Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach with the care team Empathetic nature with a patient and understanding demeanour Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules Detail-oriented approach to care and documentation Additional Information

As a Live In Care Assistant, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay, and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
