area working with a gentleman who sustained a
spinal cord injury . He is a young guy who is keen to get back to the things he was doing before his accident. He would like to go out and socialize; therefore, the successful applicant must be a
confident driver
with a
valid driver's license . He requires daily
bowel and bladder care . He suffers from
spasms
and pain and requires various forms of care:
repositioning ,
medication administration , and
cough relief . You would be leading his care as a Live-in carer, and there's also a waking night carer in the team to provide support to the client at night. He lives in a beautiful house with his partner and a friendly
dog . The client is a smoker, so prefers carers who are comfortable with
smoke . With this client, you'll be engaged in a
2-week live-in assignment , succeeded by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to
work with another client for 1 week . Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota,
working conveniently from home . To support your journey, we provide

Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care. Responsibilities Observe and record the client's health status. Assist clients with activities of daily living. Ensure the client's safety. Maintain client confidentiality. Notify clients of changes in medications. Arrange transportation for client appointments.
