Job Overview As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to our loved one in need of care. This position involves working closely with family to enhance their quality of life, ensuring their safety and comfort while promoting independence. You will be responsible for delivering personalised care tailored to the unique needs of the loved one. Duties Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required. Administer medication and monitor health conditions under the guidance of healthcare professionals. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant parties. Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia. Skills Strong ability in providing compassionate and patient care. Experience in senior care and dementia. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting clients. Understanding of the unique needs associated with dementia care. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others through their caregiving efforts.
