The Role: As a Live-in Carer at ENA Care Group, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Residing in the client's property for 4-12 weeks at a time, you will provide up to 8 hours of personalised, hands-on care per day, supporting with essential daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and facilitating an active lifestyle. Some of our clients have complex care needs, which may involve specialised interventions like PEG feeding, medication administration, tracheostomy care, and bladder washouts. While previous experience with complex care is not essential, as we provide comprehensive training, a background in home care would be highly advantageous. In this rewarding role, you will have 21 hours of protected break time per week, during which you may leave the property to enjoy your own downtime. Outside of these breaks, you will have daytime 'down time' when not delivering hands-on care, but remain available to address any ad hoc requests. Overnight, you will be 'on call for emergencies only'. Supported by a dedicated Care Manager and our 24/7 on-call service, you will have the confidence, competence, and backing you need to excel in this varied and meaningful work. We are committed to your continuous professional development, providing ongoing face-to-face training delivered by our multi-award-winning team. Experience in a care environment, ideally within a home care setting A caring, compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorships available) with the ability to provide evidence A full UK driving licence (a vehicle is not required, as you will typically drive the client's vehicle) Basic IT skills (able to complete care documentation via an app) Ability to undertake household tasks, including cooking homemade meals A willingness to provide additional support such as feeding clients' pets, where required A DBS on the update service is desirable Competitive weekly pay: £650–£900, depending on client complexity Full induction and ongoing training with award-winning trainers provided £50 travel allowance to placements Free hotel accommodation for training (for those not local to Welwyn Garden City) Company-paid DBS Opportunity for company-funded diplomas Government-backed pension scheme Up to 28 days' annual leave (pro rata) Career development opportunities Free accommodation while on placement If you are a dedicated, compassionate individual who is looking to build a fulfilling career in care with a supportive, forward-thinking company, then we would love to hear from you.
