Local Government Solicitor (Hybrid) needed in Exeter, £390.38 per day
PAYE - Reference: 5260566 Hybrid Working Considered. Full Time post, Part Time may be considered for the right candidate. Responsibilities:
Research and analyse legal issues, interpret laws, rulings, and regulations related to the constitution. Correspond with and negotiate with government departments. Prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda on constitutional and governance issues. Interpret policy documents. Advise clients, governmental bodies, or other entities on the constitutionality of laws, regulations, or actions. Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters. Present and summarize cases to leadership team, elected members, government officials, and judges. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. Collaborate with other legal professionals to discuss case details, conduct legal research, and coordinate litigation strategies. Keep up to date with changes in constitutional law and relevant case precedent. This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
