Carrying out maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification and fault-finding activities Lead engineer for contracts, projects or tasks as necessary to support operational performance Updating SAP system to ensure availability of parts Inputting data into the locomotive history tracking system Assisting other engineers on the team Conducting audits in line with Company quality management standards and processes Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Acting as a role model of Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies Working in line with legislation and rail industry requirements What we would love you to bring to the role:
Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent Driving license (B/ B1) Demonstrable history of working effectively with Diesel engineering technology and associated systems and controls Self-starter and a team player, able to coach and help others to get the job done to a high standard A strong communicator with ability to build relationships across the organisation A logical, analytical and objective approach to problem solving and fault diagnosis High level of professionalism & strong sense of customer satisfaction Hours:
