The role as a Locomotive Technician:

Carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification and fault finding on locomotives. Lead engineer for contracts, projects or tasks as necessary to support operational performance. Updating SAP system to ensure availability of parts Inputting of data into the locomotive history tracking system. Assist other engineers on the team. Adhere to strict H&S Policy. Carry audits in line with Company quality management standards and processes. Work in line with legislation and rail industry requirements. Essential Qualifications & Experience for a Locomotive Technician:

• Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent experience •Level 3 BTEC National Certificate /ONC in Engineering • Safety Critical Competence • Driving license

Benefits to you as a Locomotive Technician : Salary including shift pay £33,000 - £39,000 depending on experience 12 hours day's and nigths pattern 33 Days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays Life Assurance & retail discounts Employer Pension Contribution 5% Death in service.
