Locum Community Pharmacist - Hertfordshire - Immediate start!

We are currently seeking a Locum Community Pharmacist for an IMMEDIATE start, to join a busy and well-established pharmacy located in scenic Hertfordshire. This role offers the opportunity to work in a service connected to a GP surgery, while also covering general community pharmacy duties. There is a possibility of gaining some experience in the GP surgery setting as well.

Key Details:

Location: Hertfordshire Pay rate: £29 - £35 per hour depending on experience Role Type: Locum Duration: 2-3 months (Immediate start) Working Hours: 3, 4, or 5 days per week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break) Start Date: Immediately (December 2024)

Responsibilities:

Dispensing and checking prescriptions Providing medication advice and consultations to patients Overseeing stock control and medication management Ensuring high standards of patient care Liaising with the GP surgery to provide seamless care Opportunity to gain some GP surgery experience Managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy

Requirements:

GPhC Registered Pharmacist Experience in community pharmacy is essential Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Availability for an immediate start Willingness to gain experience within a GP surgery setting
