Job overview Applications are invited for a full-time (1.0 WTE) 6-month fixed term Locum Consultant Radiologist. The candidate should be able to report acute general cross sectional imaging including MRI and CT. Additional subspecialist interests would be welcomed. Any ability to support Urology / Lung cancer MDT would be viewed favourably. Main duties of the job Applicants should possess the FRCR or equivalent and be fully registered with the GMC. The applicants must hold their CCT in Radiology. Any candidate who wishes to be considered for part-time working is welcome to apply. The successful candidate will join a team of 22 consultant radiologists providing a comprehensive imaging service at Kingston Hospital. We have a dynamic radiology department fully equipped with multi slice CT, MRI, interventional suite, nuclear medicine and fluoroscopy. A cancer centre opened 12 years ago in conjunction with The Royal Marsden Hospital with further diagnostic facilities facilitating one stop clinics and oncology support. Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is based about 12 miles from the centre of London with good transport links into the capital and is based in a beautiful and historic part of the country. It lies very close to Richmond Park and is close to Hampton Court Palace and Kempton Park.
