It is expected that the prospective candidate will have significant head and neck cancer experience with a particular emphasis on the management of salivary gland tumours, trial development and recruitment. We would expect applicants to: Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of head and neck cancers Share with colleagues the responsibility for day-to-day management of the clinical service Participate in complex radiotherapy planning and treatment techniques Deliver systemic therapy Recruit to and actively participate in clinical trials Play an active role in the design of original clinical trials and studies Supervise undergraduates, junior doctors and other staff Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, ward rounds and on-call commitments You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have CCT or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
