Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Locum Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health, including reviewing medical histories and performing clinical assessments.

Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.

Utilise medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care to promote long-term dental health.

Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the practice.

Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.

Experience

A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution is required.

Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified dentists.

Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is essential for effective diagnosis and treatment.

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is necessary to perform procedures accurately.

Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is advantageous but not essential.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: £500.00 per day
