basis for an initial 3-month period, with the very high potential for long-term extension. Requirements: Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK Specialism within Employment Law Evidence of practising Employment Law post-qualification Experience with SEN and SEN tribunals would be advantageous Experience working within local authorities, or for a public sector organisation would be ideal Duties/Responsibilities: Advising the clients of the organisation on all aspects of Employment Law and providing representation when necessary Undertaking research as requested in relation to Employment Law including contracts and disputes regarding harassment, dismissal and discrimination Attending and advocating in court Advising officers and members in a proactive and sensitive manner Mentoring and training less experienced team members Deputising for senior members of the legal team when necessary If you are interested in this
