Duration: Long-Term (up to 18 months)
Working Hours: Up to 42 hours per week (Mon-Fri; Part-time also considered)
Pay Rate: £33 - £37 per hour
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Locum Independent Prescriber Pharmacist to join our client's team at a well-established GP surgery in Basingstoke. This is an exciting long-term opportunity with a role lasting up to 18 months, offering flexible hours with up to 42 hours per week available. The surgery is happy to consider part-time candidates as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as an integral part of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), providing clinical input on medication management. Prescribe medication in line with local policies and guidelines, ensuring safe and effective patient care. Conduct medication reviews, patient consultations, and advice on medication therapy. Comply with local policies regarding annual leave and breaks. Full induction will be provided to ensure you are familiar with the surgery's systems and processes. Requirements:
Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification is a must. Ideally, you will have already completed the 18-month CPPE pathway. Previous experience in a GP surgery setting is desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Benefits:
