What the role involves

• Supporting adults with complex needs, implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with wider multi-disciplinary teams.
• Undertake strengths-based assessments under the Care Act.
• Complete functional assessments and recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations.
• Managing a varied caseload, including complex cases.
• Work collaboratively with social workers, housing teams, and health colleagues.
• Contribute to safeguarding processes where required.

Skills and requirements

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience working within Adult Social Care in a local authority setting.
• Strong understanding of the Care Act and relevant legislation.
• Experience completing moving and handling assessments.

Confirmed role details

• Hybrid (Local Authority based).
• Rate: £30–£50 per hour.
• Locum (Full-time, part-time considered).
