Locum Pharmacist required ASAP - Band 6/7 - Hospital-based - Essex - Homecare

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Pharmacist in Essex working in an NHS hospital setting, with a focus on homecare screening for inpatients. About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for homecare screening, which involves reviewing patient medications and prescriptions to ensure they are suitable for homecare delivery. This includes checking for potential drug interactions, ensuring the right formulation and dosage for home delivery, and confirming that all homecare prescriptions meet regulatory standards. You will be supporting both inpatient and homecare teams to ensure patients continue to receive safe and effective medication management after discharge.

Who We Are Looking For:

Newly qualified pharmacists or those with community pharmacy experience are welcome to apply! You will need to have strong attention to detail and an understanding of medication management. Training will be provided, so this is an excellent opportunity to expand your career into hospital pharmacy. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be liaising with healthcare teams and patients.
