Logistic Clerk (Shipping for Food Products) 物流助理

Assist Logistics Manager in all his tasks. Task requirements include: Liaising with Marketing and forwarding agent on shipping documents Check and monitor on shipment arrivals Check that shipping documents received from Suppliers meet legislative requirements Make relevant copies of shipping documents before sending to forwarding agent Check that supplier dairy factories are registered with Malaysian Veterinary Dept Apply for relevant import permits Make arrangements to pay for the Import permits. Always check with Marketing and Warehouse where to send affected containers when unsure Do posting for incoming shipments Do transfer postings for stock transfers from one location to another Apply for Export permits when exporting to Sabah & Sarawak Apply for local Health Permits when the export permits are approved and paid Making relevant copies of shipping documents and keeping a complete filing of all shipping documents Ensure the duty costing are accurate and reflective of the correct Tariff Code Pick up and post all costings relevant to the shipment such as duties, forwarding costs, transportation, etc This position will also be required to assist the Marketing department in some specific areas when assistance is required. Qualifications required: Preferably Degree / Diploma holder.
