Job description

Safilo North handles shipments across UK & NORDICS regions and requires a skilled logistics coordinator to ensure our supply chains run smoothly. We’re looking for a candidate with an eye for detail, a keen analytical mind, and the ability to handle a system with numerous moving parts and be in fully charge of the UK Returns process. This often high-pressure position will require candidates to perform at the apex of their abilities. Our goals are to make our processes as efficient as possible, maintain good relationships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors, and keep our customers happy. Objectives of this role Monitor UK Returns flow and shipments Engage in regular communication with Sales Reps and Global Logistic Team Manage the local UK 3PL Maintain accurate and consistent records of import & export documents Manage local and international shipments from the office Manage inventory databases Responsibilities Coordinate timely and accurate inventory for the UK 3PL Ensure accuracy of orders, shipping documents, and returns Identify and fix shipping and document errors Prepare commercial invoices and deal with freights and couriers flow Receive orders and add to inventory Manage local Operations Room Skills and qualifications Strong communication skills Excellent organizational capacity Research and analysis skills Collaborative attitude Solution-oriented mindset 2 years experience in a logistics or supply chain role 2 years experience working with inventory management 2 years experience working with import and export documentation 2 years experience working with Excel, SAP & ERP systems Preferred qualifications Familiarity with best practices in supply chain management Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient Comfort in working with a 3PL Strong customer service capabilities Order to Cash flow knowledge – Good to have Understanding of both warehouse and transportation management Capacity to multitask
