POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting into Global Director of Retail Operations, the Shipping & Dispatch Executive will be the primary contact for all matters related to retail shipment from Aman Essentials to Aman resorts around the globe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with international carriers and freight forwarders to facilitate efficient shipment processes. Obtain and analyze quotations from various shipping companies to ensure cost savings for Aman properties. Monitor daily shipment statuses and provide timely updates to Aman stakeholders. Manage the dispatch process to ensure goods are shipped smoothly to Aman resort properties. Oversee transportation, delivery schedules, and load management for dispatched goods. Collaborate with property purchasing and logistics teams to select the most cost-effective and reliable shipping methods. Work closely with the Aman Essentials team to ensure timely delivery of goods in pristine condition.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or diploma in Business or Logistics (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of SAP systems is an advantage. 2–3 years in logistics, preferably within the retail industry. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to motivate and train others when required. Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using IT systems and learning new software packages. Aptitude for problem-solving and data analysis to support logistical decisions.
