Logistics Co-ordinator

Role: Logistics Co-ordinator Salary £27,040 (£13ph) Our client is seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator to join their team. You will be responsible for all activities in and out of the distribution centre. Ensuring all deliveries are checked and processed correctly. Responsibilities: Maintain delivery report of all deliveries in and out Notify stores of deliveries out and departments of deliveries in Consolidating and preparing deliveries ready for loading or collection Dealing with all couriers and deliveries Checking deliveries and notifying the relevant staff or storing them within the agreed time frames Report all damages and failed deliveries Ensure vans are loaded on time and accurately Ensuring a clean, tidy and safe work environment Ensure the DC, as well as yourself, are adhering to all Health & Safety, Quality, Security and Environmental compliance standards Key skills: Warehouse experience within a FMCG environment Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Able to use own initiative and demonstrate a common sense approach to duties Continuously looking for improvements (ideally Lean 5s) Computer Literate, intermediate level of Excel Good understanding of all H&S issues relevant to a Warehouse environment This role is 40hrs Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work when required.
