Logistics & Continuous Improvement Engineer

on behalf of a well-established client in the logistics and manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to enhance operational processes and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Job Purpose

The Logistics & Continuous Improvement Engineer will focus on improving material flow, designing efficient layouts, and identifying opportunities for operational excellence. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement strategies and ensuring seamless process implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimise material flow, layouts, and processes across the plant. Drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives, achieving measurable improvements year on year. Investigate issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures. Collaborate with project management, IT, and operations teams to deliver solutions. Monitor and report on key metrics to ensure alignment with operational goals. What We're Looking For

Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and AutoCAD (desirable). Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Degree in a related field is preferred but not essential.
