Logistics Controller Our client is a well-established, dynamic, and highly profitable supplier of technology products and services to an impressive international customer base. They seek to appoint a new member to the Logistics Team. The role will be varied and will suit someone who likes to be busy, is able to multitask, and takes a pro-active approach to work. The role will give access to leading-edge technologies. You will ideally have experience utilizing an online inventory system, be self-motivated, and able to work without supervision. Duties: Receiving and booking in goods and accessories Allocating stock to Projects Working with the Engineering and Project teams to ensure goods are available for delivery to end customers and internal staff for Demonstrations and Exhibitions Arranging for goods to be returned to the manufacturer for repair/replacement Ensuring goods in and out are re-conditioned and fit for delivery Working quickly and efficiently to deadlines and being accountable and responsible The role will include lifting, and the candidate will need to meet the physical demands of a busy store. Identifying slow-moving stock and reassigning locations to meet actual stock movement demands Booking courier collections Participating in stock counts Investigating stock discrepancies Occasional driving of the company vehicle for collections & deliveries Skills: Quality Control Required Good level of numeracy and accuracy Ability to work on own initiative Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace Ability to update computer records Experience of SAGE 200 or similar software Ability to use Microsoft Office tools Valid driving license Hours: Office environment 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday Salary:
