Logistics Coordinator | Fresh Produce | Kent
Salary: Up to £40k
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8-5 (Occasional Weekends)
Are you used to working in small teams? Are you happy to handle all of the admin associated with a Logistics role?
I have a fantastic opportunity to join a business with routes throughout Africa and Europe. The business is looking for someone to join their small team within a logistics-focused role based just outside of Maidstone, Kent. You will be responsible for the logistics function on-site, working with heads of departments to promote an efficient and compliant operation.
The main objectives of the role are:
Reduce overall transport costs through efficient planning and utilisation of resources.
Maintain strong relationships with pack sites to increase service levels.
Communicate updates with stakeholders in order to grow customer relations and maximise sales opportunities.
What you'll need:
A high level of computer literacy including MS Office.
Previous experience in a similar Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Transport role.
The ability to communicate effectively between pack sites and stakeholders.
