What you'll do: As Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate between our dispatch and order processing team to organize couriers/transport for order fulfillment, including order distribution via 3rd party providers, customs clearance documentation, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for monitoring business transport costs, consistently looking to identify ways to improve transport efficiency and cost. To organize import collections and export deliveries through the use of courier portals. Monitor transport spending through the use of reports and identify cost-saving opportunities when applicable. You will have a strong understanding of standard operating procedures for vehicle transport coordination. Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams/departments is crucial. Attention to detail and proficiency with the use of Excel is required. Raise purchase orders for 3rd party transport. You will be flexible to take on other responsibilities within the materials management team in line with business needs. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar role. Skills: Great IT skills with good attention to detail and SAP knowledge desirable. Experience working in a similar role with a good understanding of all customs procedures relating to both UK and destination countries.
