Swift Specialist Recruitment Ltd are currently representing one of our most prestigious clients based in Dartford - who are seeking an Operations Specialist to join their team.
As a Specialist you will:
Be part of a team of Logistics Specialists, managing specific customers' shipments from end to end.
Ensure total satisfaction of customers and overseas partners.
Ensure timely transport of goods to/from all overseas and UK/non-UK destinations.
Directly liaise with the management team and Directors.
Minimum requirements:
At least 2 years experience in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry including Sea FCL/LCL, air, and road freight.
Familiarity with cross-trade business and how to manage it.
A good knowledge of MS Office software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Additional requirements:
A good working knowledge of the HMRC CDS system and preparing UK Import & Export custom entries.
Additional Information:
Performance related Bonus scheme.
Role is office-based; on-site parking is available.
Some domestic and international travel may be required.
