Logistics Operator, Snodland

**Job Title:** Logistics Operator (Transport Based)**Location:** Snodland, Kent**Pay Rate:** £11.46 per hour (with a bonus of up to £10 per day based on performance and attendance)**Hours:** 09:00 – 18:00**Rota:** Monday - Friday with 1 Saturday a month required if needed**The Best Connection is recruiting a Logistics Operator on behalf of our client in Snodland, Kent.** This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of transport operations.**Responsibilities:**- Monitoring drivers and keeping track of delivery routes- Using pallet network systems: TPN & Palletways- Arranging and managing collections- Handling phone calls from drivers, depots, and queries- Debriefing drivers- Ensuring operating license and driver hours legislation are adhered to- Addressing any issues that arise impacting operations, including traffic delays, breakdowns, and accidents- Supporting the safe, legal, and efficient execution of transport operations during a shift**Requirements:**- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal- Proficiency in using pallet network systems like TPN & Palletways- Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Knowledge of transport legislation and regulations**Benefits:**- Competitive hourly rate- Performance-based bonus- Opportunity for professional growth- Supportive and friendly work environmentIf you have a passion for logistics and ensuring smooth transport operations, we encourage you to apply for this Logistics Operator position.
