A little bit about the role... Due to growth within British Offsite, we are recruiting for a Logistics Team Leader to join our early shift (6am - 2pm). You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient handling, storing, and loading of finished Uni-system products to meet operational requirements, including operating overhead gantry cranes and supervising the vertical storage and loading zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Safe loading of Uni-System products to necessary timelines, using internal systems to ensure this information is recorded accurately. Supervision and management of the loading team members. Ensure Uni-System products are safely, timely and accurately stored and loaded onto outbound trailers/Skids closely liaising with the Transport Dept. Communicating any foreseen issues with completing loads ahead of time. Move Uni-System products around either by hand (Vertical Storage Rails) or utilising lifting equipment (ABUS Overhead gantry cranes). Input and extrapolate data regarding Uni-System products into and from numerous systems. Ensure the loading area, vertical storage and equipment is kept to the required safe condition, including complying with PUWER and LOLER requirements. Work in a safe manner, complying with all health and safety regulations; inline with company lift plans. Work and communicate effectively as part of a team and motivate team members. Carry out timely housekeeping, keeping work areas clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Carry out any tasks or duties as required for the effective operation of the Company. As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Familiarity with a warehouse environment, particularly with lifting operations and overhead gantry cranes. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills to deliver accurate information across multiple departments. Good written and verbal skills. Valid licences for associated lifting equipment. Familiarity with using Handheld Terminals (HHT’s). Experience in prioritising tasks and workloads to ensure daily KPI targets are met.
