We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Security Officer with fantastic customer service skills, who would like to work at client’s vibrant, modern state-of-the-art building - The Bower.

Commuting is easy, with the tube at Old Street Station just a minutes’ walk away and Moorgate & Liverpool Street Stations very close by.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Position:

Security Officer

Pay rate:

£17.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off, Days and Nights, 42 hours per week.

Location:

Bower. 207-211 Old Street, Islington, EC1V 9NR

Start Date:

1st March 2025

Role Requirements:

Valid SIA licence

Must have:

Valid SIA licence

Previous experience in corporate security or relevant position min 1 year

5-year checkable work history

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Surveillance skills and detail orientation

IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

Duties:

Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager

Patrol and monitor the company's premises, ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, and assets.

Conduct regular security checks and inspections, identifying and reporting any potential risks or hazards.

Investigate and respond to security incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve them.

Monitor and control access to the company's facilities, ensuring that only authorized personnel are granted entry.

Enforce company policies and procedures related to security, ensuring compliance at all times.

Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients, addressing their security concerns and needs.

Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and activities, as required.
