Job description Hays Travel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to join our passionate marketing team. This is a unique opportunity for a marketing professional with over three years of experience, ideally within the travel industry, to take a leading role in driving the growth of our long haul business. As the Long Haul Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager and the wider marketing department and will be the primary point of contact for all long haul marketing initiatives, playing a key role in increasing our market share in this important sector. We are looking for a candidate who not only has a comprehensive understanding of the marketing mix but also brings creativity and strategic thinking to the role. You will be deeply involved in shaping and executing marketing campaigns that resonate with our customers and elevate the Hays Travel brand in the long haul market. Managing and implementing marketing campaigns focused on long haul destinations, measuring and reporting on results Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create and manage campaigns within set budgets Collaborative working with the marketing department's specialised functions to gather expert inputs into the marketing plans Briefing and overseeing the work of creative teams to deliver campaigns through to the execution stage Writing, editing, and proofreading copy for promotional materials in long haul marketing campaigns Delivering regular reports on campaign performance, including media effectiveness and commercial impact Ensuring accuracy of marketing materials and providing sign off as required Leveraging data and customer insights to inform new campaigns and optimise existing ones Monitoring competitors to understand market opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly Key Competencies

At least three years' experience in coordinating and leading marketing campaigns, with a strong preference for experience within the travel industry Strong understanding of the full marketing mix and ability to implement, manage, and report on campaign performance Decisive and accurate with the ability to take a lead role in tasks Results-driven with a desire to meet and exceed targets Positive attitude in all aspects of work, reflecting our company values Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work Proactive with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward Strong desire for personal and professional development Representing the company with a professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive attitude About Us As the UK's largest independent travel agency, Hays Travel specialises in providing good value, quality holidays, alongside excellent customer service.
