We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lead / Senior Quantity Surveyor who has multi-utility experience to join the commercial team working out of the Northwich office with hybrid working arrangements. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR: Commercial delivery of NEC 3/4 option contracts Drafting of commercial correspondence within response periods Delivery of risk and opportunities register Change control and management Valuation and validation of compensation events process Monthly payment valuations and final account assessment Stakeholder management Attendance at all relevant meetings Contract preparation Appreciation of project budgets and spend Cost estimating and planning Mentoring of junior Quantity Surveyors ROLE REQUIREMENTS FOR A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR: 5+ years experience in a Senior role as a QS or Commercial Lead. Degree qualified Have a strong technical QS background; ability to prioritise. Excellent communication skills Have a high level and proven track record of delivering to agreed timescales.
