Providing pre-diagnosis support, streamlining investigations to meet patients' needs and national targets. To work closely with Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) coordinator to ensure efficient & effective running of MDT meetings. Present patients to the MultiDisciplinary Team, ensuring a holistic assessment and contributing to the diagnosis. Communicate the outcome of multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings to patients, providing support and information (both verbal and written) at the time of diagnosis and throughout the disease process. Ensuring continuity as patient's care moves between teams and sites and updating communications to patient journey. Support the lung cancer pathways, ensuring implementation of the.
