NHS England is launching a national Lung Cancer Screening Programme (previously known as Targeted Lung Health Checks) to improve early lung cancer detection in high-prevalence areas. This programme invites at-risk patients for a risk assessment, with higher-risk individuals offered a low-dose CT scan. The primary goal is to increase early-stage diagnoses and improve survival rates. TIC Health is proud to deliver the Lung Cancer Screening Programme across Norfolk and Waveney in partnership with the NHS, beginning early next year. This exciting opportunity requires an initiative-taking individual to lead a team in managing the day-to-day delivery of this new service. The Lung Cancer Screening administration office will be based in Yate, near Bristol, and the service will be provided across Norfolk and Waveney. Hybrid working is available, with some travel expected to the office in Yate and various locations in Norfolk and Waveney. This dynamic, portfolio role demands exceptional management and leadership skills to execute a transformational programme for patients. The role requires an individual who can work autonomously in a stimulating and challenging environment to achieve efficient outcomes. The Programme Coordinator will collaborate with a newly formed team and work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior clinical and managerial leaders and external agencies. As Programme Coordinator, you will oversee and manage the programme's delivery across the identified localities. Key responsibilities include: Proactively engaging with stakeholders to develop a unified framework guided by the National Programme and Protocols. Partnering with local communities, health, and care providers to plan and implement the programme. Establishing governance and infrastructure, ensuring the active involvement of stakeholders in programme delivery. About us

This role requires excellent management and leadership skills to deliver the programme for patients in Norfolk and Waveney. The Programme Coordinator will work independently in a challenging yet stimulating environment, collaborating with stakeholders from the Cancer Alliance, Integrated Care Board, acute NHS trusts, and primary care, including senior clinical and managerial personnel. Key Responsibilities Develop a governance structure aligned with national, local, and TIC Health standards. Manage the Lung Cancer Screening administration team, including training programme implementation and monitoring. Coordinate with the Lead Nurse to ensure the nursing team delivers an efficient, patient-focused service. Ensure programme adherence to all national and local standards. Analyse national guidance and protocols to shape programme delivery. Develop performance metrics to evaluate and demonstrate programme effectiveness. Collaborate with NHS colleagues to create an effective delivery plan for Norfolk and Waveney. Monitor programme performance, identify issues, and lead corrective actions. Produce accurate, up-to-date information to support performance tracking. Analyse and present data to highlight issues, mitigate risks, and support decision-making. Conduct a gap analysis of current service provision, presenting findings to senior groups. Actively manage risks and lead resolution and escalation processes. Compile and present regular progress reports for the Lung Cancer Steering Group, Cancer Alliance Board, and ICB assurance framework groups. Develop options appraisals to inform and recommend programme delivery decisions. Share best practices with other Lung Cancer Screening programmes. Contribute to a communication strategy that upholds patient-centred values and respects diverse groups. Organisational Responsibilities Adhere to TIC Health's administrative procedures, protocols, and policies. Uphold TIC Health values and behaviours. Participate in continuing education and training, including mandatory courses. Attend departmental meetings and awareness sessions as required. Travel to national meetings when necessary. Experience

Demonstrated NHS (or equivalent) management experience. Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking. Proven record of delivering financial and quality benefits. Problem-solving skills within one's area of responsibility. Experience in managing complex projects and staff teams to meet objectives. Ability to prioritise and deliver outcomes under pressure. Highly developed IT skills, including advanced keyboard accuracy. Ability to synthesize multidisciplinary information and develop solutions. Qualifications

Educated to first degree level (or equivalent experience as a manager). Disclosure and Barring Service Check
