As a Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects from concept to completion. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Your role will involve close collaboration with design, production, and client teams, ensuring all specifications meet exacting standards. Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight:
Manage projects from initial sales handover through to installation and commissioning, ensuring alignment with specifications, timelines, and budgets. Design Development:
Develop control panel and switchgear solutions tailored to customer requirements, with a focus on quality and innovation. Component Selection:
Evaluate and select components that meet suitability, availability, and budgetary constraints. Product Lifecycle Management:
Supervise product design and build phases, coordinating seamlessly with production schedules. Supplier and Client Liaison:
Collaborate with suppliers to maintain project timelines and communicate effectively with clients, including attending site meetings and leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Compliance and Safety:
Create and manage Method Statements and Risk Assessments for on-site installations to ensure adherence to safety standards. What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a skilled and passionate individual with the following qualifications and experience: Educational Background:
A professional qualification in Electrical Engineering is essential. Technical Expertise:
Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings. Knowledge of LV installations is required, with HV experience considered a significant advantage. Industry Knowledge:
Proven experience in the specification, design, and manufacture of LV switchgear, and a solid understanding of industry standards. Software Skills:
Familiarity with ePlan and CAD software is highly desirable. Leadership & Communication:
Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong command of the English language. What’s on Offer
