We are currently seeking an M365 Architect for a London Local Authority. In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplined end-user team, focusing on continuous improvements. This role involves managing server infrastructure and system integration across SaaS, on-premises, and Azure platforms. This is an initial 3-month contract, offering around £400/day Umbrella (Inside IR35).
Experience in the local authority or in the public sector is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Systems Team, managing team members operationally and developmentally to ensure a resilient, high-quality agile service.
Oversee temporary staff, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects and programmes.
Take responsibility for the entire M365 and Azure tenancy.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to determine and implement the technology strategy, achieving efficiencies and savings across the council.
Work with the IT Security Manager to identify and implement best practice security controls across the user and server estate.
Partner with the Network and Telephony Manager to design and implement best practicable solutions across servers and systems.
