A leading London insurer is looking for a M&A Analyst to support C-Suite executives by providing day-to-day support on all transaction opportunities and pitches, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and advisers. The main responsibilities of this M&A Analyst role will include: Preparation of key due diligence materials and output, including representation of our work by a variety of methods. Analyse historical and future financial information/balance sheets. Liaison with counterparties and intermediaries/advisers. Undertake and project plan due diligence activities. Transformation activities. Advise on deal activity from a financial analysis and contingency perspective. The successful candidate for this M&A Analyst role will need experience working in an accounting firm in the transactions/auditing teams on insurance clients, with prior M&A experience. The candidate must also be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAEW), a confident communicator, and have good knowledge of Excel.
