M&A Counsel (Sport Media) - 1yr FTC (remote work available)
Exciting opportunity for an M&A Counsel to join a dynamic business in the sports media and gaming sector. This is a 12-month contract. The offices are in Central London – the client is open to applications from candidates living elsewhere in the UK who wouldn’t be required to come in regularly. Working in partnership with the M&A team, you will provide support on key transactions for the business. You will have the chance to work alongside a collaborative and talented team while also taking ownership of important matters independently. A significant part of the role will focus on a large recent acquisition by the business. The M&A Counsel will cover due diligence, draft documentation, project manage key elements of the acquisition, and liaise with legal and other stakeholders (both internal and external). You will also have the opportunity to contribute to drafting, reviewing, and advising on commercial agreements. The business believes that the role would be ideally suited to someone between 2-4 PQE, but applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must have solid experience with all elements of a corporate/M&A transaction, and ideally, exposure to project managing a post-acquisition integration. You must be available to start in February and have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship can be provided).
